    Benefits of the Study:
    The benefit will be to determine which method of communication is preferred by social network users, Facebook or Texting.

      1.Which smart phone would you prefer iPhone or android and why?
      iphone, because it's simpler to use and the phone looks in better quality than an android.

      2.What don't you like about the android?
      i don't like how complicated to find things on it. or the fact that it can crash because you can get a virus.

      3.Is it the fact that it's an apple phone? & what's so popular about it?
      i've always been an apple person, i stuck with iPhone, my go to phone. to the laptop, and the good programs they have.

      no, i would get a blackberry.

    Purpose of the Study:
    The purpose of this study is to compare and contrast the two socials, KIK and Texting, and see why people rather use one or the other to communicate and socialize with others.

    Description of the Study:
    In order to be able to participate in this study it is required that you have or used both texting and KIK messenger before. There will be questions pertaining personal thoughts and opinions towards both socials and also your age.

    Risks or Discomforts:
    Answering these questions you may get into your person feelings making connections as to which social you prefer using, if at any time you might feel any discomfort you may discontinue your participation from this study temporarily or permanently. Withdrawing from this study will not affect your relationship with the researcher or your school.

    Benefits of the Study:
    From this study the benefits will be the knowledge of which social majority of the population enjoys more and also if the age group has a huge impact on the percentage as well. There is no guarantee, however, that you will receive any benefits from participating in this study.

    Confidentiality:
    While being asked these questions you will be asked if you feel comfortable being audio or video recorded for record purposes for proof and verification of evidence. If you don’t feel comfortable with either of them that is fine as well, notes will be taken as you are being asked these questions and a signature will be required signing that everything written is true.     Purpose of the Study: the purpose of this study is to interview people who to date still use social media networks .

    Description of the Study: to participate in this study a person being interviewed will need to know how social media works and what it is. ill be asking the people if they have or still use Instagram and or Facebook or if they still have both.

    Risks or Discomforts: Risks can be social, economic, or psychological. Do not assume that there are no risks although they may be minimal. Identify the risks or discomforts the subjects might encounter as a result of participation. Outline the provisions you have made to minimize or eliminate them. (For example, “Because of the personal nature of the questions that will be included on the questionnaire, you may reflect on unpleasant memories. If you begin to feel uncomfortable, you may discontinue participation at any time, either temporarily or permanently, and it will not affect your relationship with the researcher” or the school, or the job, etc. as appropriate.)

    Purpose of the Study: The purpose is if people prefer a book or a nook. What are the people's choice which one do they feel better using .

    Description of the Study: What is better a book or nook.? Where do people use these thing's and how do they use them? A book can be read in a library it can be bought at a store it also depends if its paperback or hardcover. A nook can be a little pricy but the books that are bought are cheaper and you will get them instantly.

    Indicatives to Participate: The book can cost a little compared to buying nook, yes a nook book can cost less but buying the actual nook can cost a lot and it is also depending on how big you want the nook.

    Benefits of the Study: A book can be less distracting and one would feel more comfortable depending on the size and nook depending which one it is can be distracting but less disturbing.

    Purpose of the Study to get users input on what they use more, twitter or Facebook and why.

     

    Description of the Study: In the participation of this study the person being interviewed will be asked if they have a Twitter, and if they do, how often do they use it and compare it to Facebook, and what do they prefer over Twitter or Facebook.

    Risks or Discomforts: Risks can be social, economic, or psychological.  Do not assume that there are no risks although they may be minimal.  Identify the risks or discomforts the subjects might encounter as a result of participation.  Outline the provisions you have made to minimize or eliminate them.  (For example, “Because of the personal nature of the questions that will be included on the questionnaire, you may reflect on unpleasant memories.  If you begin to feel uncomfortable, you may discontinue participation at any time, either temporarily or permanently, and it will not affect your relationship with the researcher” or the school, or the job, etc. as appropriate.)

     

     Benefits of the Study: there is no guarantee that there will be any benefits from this study other than the benefit of helping out with your input for this research.

     

    Confidentiality: confidentiality will be maintained to the extent allowed by law.  “Please know that the investigator is a mandated reporter for certain types of information you may share.   If you mention suicidal thoughts, intention to seriously harm others or knowledge of child or elder abuse, the investigator will be required to report such information to the appropriate authorities.”  the confidentiality of this study will go as far, as being interviewed with a questionnaire that can be filled out short worded, or I will ask a couple of questions that will go into my research, or you may be recorded on my phone with your consent of course

    Incentives to Participate: This will count as extra credit.
