  1. The first bi racial Ms. Japan to won the Miss Universe pageant .Heavy criticism has come down on her and the judge’s rule. Even though she is born and raised from Japan. She was chosen over the other Japanese women who had the distinct Japanese features. There has been other discrimination towards Koreans and Chinese who were born in Japan. I believe beauty is undeniable from wherever it comes from. Miss Universe is a celebration of not only beauty but talent and intellect. It is to showcase the strong beautiful women from around the world without discrimination of race. To represent a culture a nation that you are born from is a great burden and a great honor. I am glad Japan was not scared to pick Ariana Miyamoto to represent them. You cannot deny her beauty or that she didn’t belong in the pageant as Miss Japan and now she represents world as beauty. As the world growing races are mixing I this is a great time to have a bi-racial Miss Universe.

  2. The article, “Standards of Practices for Occupational Therapy” is about occupational therapy assistants, which is a person that helps patients that have illnesses, injuries, diseases, disorders and other disable problems to help them accomplish their goal to be able to do things on their own with no help. They teach people different ways of doing the same activity in order to do their everyday things without having a problem to get them done. The article stated that the requirement to become an occupational therapy assistant requires you to graduate from an occupational therapy assistant program. You will also have to complete supervised field work experience and have to pass the nationally recognized entry level exam. In addition an occupational therapy assistant also has to document the patient information such as their needs, their goals, their performance, and their follow up resources. This article talked about the different steps to take in order for someone to become an occupational therapy assistant.

•4. The way in which i can relate to this article is that, becoming a neonatal nurse has been my dream job since i turned ten. This all happened because my baby brother was born as a preemie baby. He was five months when he was born, way to preemie it was scary. He stayed in the incubator for three months and thanks to god he got better and is just like a normal other kid, he is complete and is healthy yes has delicate skin but nothing major. going through this was scary because he could have died, he was way too small and did not develop right. Ever since then it changed my mind and has focused me into wanting to being a neonatal nurse.

  4. my article was taken from the school library online site. its name is developments in neonatal care and nursing responses. I chose this article because I knew it would be interesting to me and be fun to learn more about my desired career. a neonatal's role is to care for newborn babies and care for the sick babies. Babies that are cared for by neonatal nurses have a variety of problems including infections, congenital abnormalities, birth complications, newborn illness, cardiac malformations, and surgical problems, and include both term and preterm babies.

  5. 1. Why is Boredom becoming extinct? Why does it cause a great impact on everyone? How does it affect us?
    2. But what else has been lost? Creativity, just maybe. Because when one thinks about the matter—though we really have no reason to think about the matter, or to think about anything since boredom disappeared—the keypad and the touch screen now do the work that used to be the business of the daydream.
    3. Annotations
    4. Boredom is Extinct
    5. People used to talk about boredom as though it were a thing, not a mood—a sort of physical object.
    6. Remember daydreams? No, of course you don’t. How could you? Three new text messages have just arrived and another three, in a moment, will go out.

    Summary
I read this article in tenth grade and it is an even greater case now because of how much technology has taken over. Looking now at the kids in my house and others kids I can really notice the change. Not only kids but everyone has lost their sense of wonder because of technology. Even myself I can relate because of how much time I spend on my phone and I can see how it has affected me.
